I grew up playing with Barbie and her best friend Midge. She was an iconic piece of my childhood. My sister and I loved when my mom would help us to make clothes for them.
My parents made us some incredible gifts for Christmas while we were young. One of my favorite Christmas gifts of all came after watching my mom working painstakingly on two doll houses with little pieces of furniture. She told my sister and I that she was making the houses for our cousins…my sister and I were SO JEALOUS! When we unwrapped those houses on Christmas morning we were beyond thrilled. They were really amazing, and they were made with love by our mom. I still have mine, and I would bet my sister still has hers.
